Professor Plumb is a family owned and operated plumbing company serving Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding areas. The owner, Ernie Capretti, was introduced to the plumbing trade as a young boy by his father who has been a plumber for over 40 years. By the age of 14, Ernie was accompanying his dad on plumbing jobs and that is when he began learning the basic skills of the trade. Ernie followed in his father’s footsteps and completed his apprenticeship and joined his father working as a journeyman plumber.

At a young age Ernie had the drive and determination to run his own plumbing business, and shortly after becoming a journeyman plumber, he did just that. After running a plumbing company in Ohio as state certified plumbing contractor for over 10 years, Ernie decided to move his family and his business to the Sunshine State! Ernie is licensed in the State of Florida as a certified plumbing contractor, where he has run a successful business since 2006.
